Ian M. Jones - Chief Everything
Technically Ian’s the Director of IMiJ Ltd, but as he’s also employed by IMiJ Ltd, he likes to go by the title “Chief Everything”, just to massage his ego even further.
Currently Ian spends most working hours in front of a computer developing software for IMiJ Ltd or it’s clients with PHP, MySQL and Javascript with the help of CakePHP, PHP-MapScript, jQuery, PrototypeJS, Scriptaculous, the YUI library and anything else as required (such as Informix 4GL/SQL, bash etc).
For IMiJ Ltd’s own products Ian is using Real Studio (RealBasic) and Corona SDK (lua).
Non-working hours are spent with his wife, young daughter or friends. Spare time is often back on the computer developing side projects and tinkering with new technologies, unwinding with a video game or catching up with video podcasts. Away from the computer Ian enjoys playing squash, cycling, and watching films and the odd bit of TV before collapsing in bed with the thickest fiction book he can find to unwind with.
Once in a while Ian will post an article to his blog or short observation to twitter as @ianmjones, but don’t hold your breath!
